(June 1961) Those who came to have Baba’s darshan could only have it once for one hour. Many had traveled from a long distance despite the fact that Baba had discouraged this in his circular and also hinted that later they might have a better opportunity of his company for a much longer period. When one such group was in Guruprasad, Baba referred to this point, inquiring, “Didn’t you read the circular properly? Haven’t you noted about the possibility of a much better opportunity mentioned therein?”
Someone from the group replied, “We have implicit faith in you as God, but not so much in your promises! So, we could not even dream of missing such a chance and so here we are.”
Baba smiled and remarked, “I, too, have complete faith not only in myself as God but also in my words, although not as you understand them.”
