I WILL STAY HERE FOR ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED YEARS

Since his return from Bombay at the end of 1926, Baba had been staying in the Jhopdi at lower Meherabad. But from March 9th, 1927, he began spending the night in the table-cabin near the dhuni. The handmill was fixed outside its entrance and he again began grinding corn for a few hours each day. When Baba changed his seat to the table-cabin, he cryptically remarked to the mandali, “I will stay here for one thousand two hundred years!”
