5:00 am to 12:00 noon

Meher Baba’s accident occurred as He and several
of His women mandali were driving across the country from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Ojai, California.
On the 5th day of the journey, in the center of the United States, His car was involved in a serious collision. Baba, Mehera, Elizabeth, and Meheru were severely injured.
They were taken to a small hospital, the Prague Clinic
in Prague, Oklahoma, where they were treated and recuperated for 12 days. This momentous event in His life and work
is unfathomable to us, though Baba said about it,

“You must understand that this was God’s will, and it will
result in benefit to the whole world.”

On Sunday, May 24, 2020,
Avatar Meher Baba Heartland Center will host
an international Japa, inviting Baba lovers all over the world
to join in repeating His name.
The japa will last from 5:00 am to 12:00 noon,
with participants choosing any time segment during that period to repeat His name. In this manner, for seven hours,
encompassing the events of May 24, 1952,
Baba’s sacred name will resound around the world.
